## Changes to these terms

Effective October 26, 2026. Version 2026-10-26. Operated by Ironclad Solutions LLC, a Puerto Rico company that operates HandledIQ.

Every published version of HandledIQ’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Data Processing terms, newest first. When a new version takes effect, signed-in owners see a notice in the app.

### Version 2026-10-26, effective October 26, 2026

- Anyone who signs in can delete their own account from inside HandledIQ, on the phone app or the web: Settings, then Delete your account (a technician: Profile, then Delete my account). Their sign-in goes at once, with their alert addresses, Hoss chats and, for a technician, their photo, location points, calendar links and license photos, and they get a receipt of what went. When a shop's only owner deletes theirs, the shop closes 7 days later, as closing it from Passports & export does.
- The Privacy Policy now names what the HandledIQ phone app keeps: the phone's alert address, while alerts are on, so a person's own alerts reach that phone. Apple's alert service joins the subprocessor list: it carries each alert, a few words with no address, to an iPhone that turned alerts on.
- HandledIQ's encrypted backups now keep a second copy at a second company, Backblaze, in the United States, so losing one company never loses them. Each file is encrypted before it leaves our computers and encrypted again with a separate key, so Backblaze cannot read it. Backblaze is added to the subprocessor list.

### Version 2026-10-24, effective October 24, 2026

- One flat monthly price: HandledIQ keeps nothing from card or bank payments taken through HandledIQ. Your shop pays only Stripe's own fee, into its own Stripe account.
- HandledIQ has one plan, billed each month for each location. There is no free plan, so the 60-day pause for a free shop no longer applies.

### Version 2026-10-22, effective October 22, 2026

- Your records are yours, in writing: HandledIQ never sells them or lets anyone use them for advertising other than your own, never trains an AI model on them for anyone but your shop, never uses one shop's records to serve another, takes no licence to keep or reuse them, and never loosens these promises for records it already holds.
- A private model for one shop alone is made only if that shop's owner says yes, serves only that shop, and can be retired at any time.
- An AI app a shop's owner connects reads each customer as a stand-in, without their names, phones, emails, streets, notes or photos, unless the owner turns customer details on for that app.
- The terms name the services that use what they receive under their own terms: Google Ads bidding on booked jobs (never a customer's details), Stripe's fraud checks, Telnyx's speech-to-text during receptionist calls, and AI apps you connect.
- Leaving: your records as spreadsheets other apps take in, call recordings included; close the shop from Passports & export with 7 days to change your mind; its records deleted within 30 days with a signed receipt; and 90 days' notice and read-only access if HandledIQ ever stops running.

### Version 2026-10-21, effective October 21, 2026

- HandledIQ's prices are published. Free Office costs nothing a month: the office without Hoss, a HandledIQ phone line or texts. With no sign-in for 60 days it may be paused after notice; signing in turns it back on. The paid plan is billed monthly for each location, after each month ends, at the price shown before you start it.
- HandledIQ keeps 0.5% of each card and bank payment taken through HandledIQ, on top of Stripe's own fee. Each payout shows it, and it goes back with a refund.
- Standard onboarding is a one-time charge on the first bill where the price includes it. Work outside its published scope is quoted and approved first.
- A founding price holds both its rates for 24 months from the first paid month, then each can rise at most 5% a year with 90 days' notice.
- New page, Booking from an AI app: the terms and what is shared when a person books a shop from ChatGPT, Claude or another AI app. The Privacy Policy and the subprocessor list now say that an AI app a shop's owner or a homeowner connects gets only what they chose to give it.

### Version 2026-10-20, effective October 20, 2026

- The Privacy Policy now says how Google and Meta accounts a shop connects are used, and that information received from Google follows Google's Limited Use rules.

### Version 2026-10-19, effective October 19, 2026

- HandledIQ's app and its records move to a server in Virginia that Ironclad Solutions LLC rents from OVHcloud US and runs itself. OVHcloud US joins the subprocessor list. A standby copy stays on a computer Ironclad Solutions LLC operates in the United States.
- Hoss, record search and decision support still run only on computers Ironclad Solutions LLC operates. No shop records go to outside AI companies.

### Version 2026-10-11, effective October 11, 2026

- First published Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data Processing terms, Acceptable Use policy, subprocessor list and security overview.
- Creating a shop now records that the owner agreed to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Data Processing terms.
- The existing text message terms, contact privacy notice and connected advertising notices are unchanged.
- Correction: pages load the Geist font from HandledIQ itself, never from Google Fonts, so the Privacy Policy line about Google Fonts and its row on the subprocessor list are gone. handlediq.com's older Terms and Privacy pages now lead here, and the contact privacy notice covers its walkthrough form.
