Subprocessors
These are the outside companies that handle data so HandledIQ can work, what each does and when. We update this page before a new subprocessor starts handling customer data (see the Data Processing terms).
| Company | What it does | Data it handles | When | Where |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| OVHcloud US | Provides the server that runs HandledIQ’s app and database and keeps its stored files. Ironclad Solutions LLC rents it and runs it itself. | Shop records, photos and files on that server. | Always | United States (Virginia) |
| Cloudflare | Carries every request to HandledIQ over HTTPS (Cloudflare Tunnel), stores HandledIQ’s encrypted backups (Cloudflare R2), and hosts handlediq.com and the walkthrough requests sent on its form (Workers KV). | All traffic to the app and handlediq.com in transit, with a log of each handlediq.com request kept up to 7 days; backups that are encrypted before they leave our computers; what a person sends on handlediq.com’s form. | Always | Global network; R2 and KV storage |
| Backblaze | Keeps a second copy of HandledIQ’s encrypted backups (Backblaze B2), so they never rest with one company alone. | The same backups, encrypted before they leave our computers and encrypted again with a separate key, so Backblaze cannot read them. | Always | United States |
| Stripe | Card payments to each shop’s own Stripe account, card readers, payouts, and sales tax calculations. | Invoice amounts and numbers, the payer’s details entered on Stripe’s pages, and the service address for tax. | When a shop connects Stripe | Stripe’s locations |
| Telnyx | Phone calls, texts, phone numbers and texting registration; speech-to-text during receptionist calls when the caller agrees. | Phone numbers, message text, call audio while a call is live, and the shop’s business details for carrier registration. | When a shop turns on texting or the receptionist | Telnyx’s locations |
| Resend | Email delivery: sign-in codes, customer emails a shop sends, and contact-form notices. | Email addresses and message content. | Whenever email is sent | Resend’s locations |
| Google Maps Platform | Address lookup, drive times in traffic and maps. | Addresses and stop locations. | When turned on for the installation | Global |
| U.S. Census Bureau geocoder | Places addresses on the map for route ordering, measuring a house from the map, and the shop’s own location. | Street addresses only. | When routes are planned, a house is measured from the map, or a shop is listed | United States |
| U.S. Geological Survey (The National Map) | Sends the public-domain aerial photo a house is measured on from the map. | A square of map about 180 meters across around the house; no name, address or other record. | When someone measures a house from the map | United States |
| Google (Business Profile, Ads, Search Console) | Manages the shop’s own Google accounts that its owner connects. | The shop’s business details, posts, review replies and ad information. | Only when a shop connects them | Global |
| Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Meta ads) | Manages the shop’s own Meta pages and ad accounts that its owner connects. | The shop’s posts and ad information. | Only when a shop connects them | Global |
| Apple Push Notification service | Carries alerts to the HandledIQ app on an iPhone or iPad whose person turned alerts on. | The alert’s few words (the kind of visit, when, and what; never an address) and the phone’s alert address. | When someone turns on alerts in the iPhone app | Apple’s locations |
| Intuit QuickBooks, Xero | Sends invoices, payments and customers to the shop’s own accounting, on the owner’s approval. | Customer names, invoice and payment records. | Only when a shop connects one | Their locations |
Run by HandledIQ itself
- The app and its database run on a server Ironclad Solutions LLC rents from OVHcloud US and runs itself. A standby copy runs on a computer Ironclad Solutions LLC operates in the United States.
- Hoss, record search and decision support use AI models on computers Ironclad Solutions LLC operates. HandledIQ sends no shop records to outside AI companies on its own; an AI app a shop’s owner or a homeowner connects gets only what they chose to give it.
- Road times for route planning come from our own copy of OSRM with OpenStreetMap map data. Placing a new address on the map asks the U.S. Census Bureau’s address finder (listed above), which receives only the street address.
Services you choose
When a shop connects its own accounts (for example its old field-service software for an import, ChatGPT or Claude through HandledIQ’s AI app connection, a Cloudflare account to publish its website, or its own webhook addresses), or the owner lists the shop in AI apps’ local search (its business name, address, phone and website only), HandledIQ sends those services only what that connection needs. Those are the shop’s own providers, under the shop’s agreements with them.
Built, but not turned on
HandledIQ’s code can also use OpenRouter for decision support (with names, addresses, phone numbers and emails removed before anything leaves), HERE for truck routing, Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging for alerts on Android phones, and Gusto for payroll (paychecks by direct deposit, payroll taxes withheld, paid and filed, W-2s and 1099s). None of them handles a shop’s data: Gusto’s test system holds only HandledIQ’s own practice shops, made up and marked test data. We will list a service here before it handles customer data.
